In alignment with SEBI Circular SEBI/HO/IMD-II/IMD-II_DOF10/P/CIR/2021/00677, the following Investor Charter is voluntarily published for the benefit and awareness of mutual fund investors.

  • Support the development of a vibrant, transparent, ethical, and globally competitive asset management industry.
  • Enact and enforce rules and regulations that promote the highest professional and ethical standards across all areas of mutual fund operations.
  • Work closely with the mutual fund industry to recommend and promote good practices.
  • Create awareness and educate the public about the concept, working, and benefits of mutual funds.
  • Protect the interests of investors and unit holders at all times.

Do's for Investors

  • Read the Scheme Information Document (SID) and Statement of Additional Information (SAI) carefully before investing.
  • Ensure your KYC is complete and your contact details (email, phone, address) are always up to date with the AMC/RTA.
  • Always add a nominee to your mutual fund folios.
  • Invest only through SEBI/AMFI-registered and regulated intermediaries.
  • Issue payments strictly in the name of the Mutual Fund or Scheme โ€” never in the name of an individual or intermediary.
  • Keep your critical information (user IDs, passwords, OTPs) completely confidential. Do not share them with anyone, including your distributor.

Don'ts for Investors

  • Do not fall for promises of indicative, exorbitant, or assured/guaranteed returns.
  • Do not issue blank cheques or signed blank transaction instruction slips to anyone.
  • Do not use third-party bank accounts for funding subscriptions or receiving redemption proceeds.
  • Do not invest based on speculation, unverified rumours, or informal advice from unregistered entities.
  • Do not share your online transaction credentials (passwords, PINs, OTPs) with your distributor or anyone else.

Rights of Investors

  • Right to Information: Receive complete details about the scheme, including investment objectives, portfolio composition, risks, and historical performance.
  • Right to Statements: Receive timely Statements of Account (SOA) and Consolidated Account Statements (CAS) as per SEBI-prescribed timelines.
  • Right to Timely Payouts: Receive redemption proceeds and dividend/income distribution payouts within the timelines stipulated by SEBI.
  • Right to Exit: Be informed about any fundamental attribute changes in a scheme and offered an exit without an exit load, if applicable.
  • Right to Privacy: Complete privacy of your financial and personal information in accordance with applicable laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA).

Grievance Redressal Mechanism

If you have a complaint or grievance regarding mutual fund services, you may escalate through the following channels:

  1. Contact the Distributor: Reach out to us directly at contact@vkamath.com.
  2. Contact the AMC: Lodge a complaint with the concerned Asset Management Company's investor relations team.
  3. SEBI SCORES Portal: If unresolved, file a complaint on SEBI SCORES.
  4. SMART ODR: For online dispute resolution, visit SMART ODR Portal.
